Dr Catherine Lee is honoured to have contributed to this feature published by the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery (ISCFS) , which highlights how orthodontics can play a key role in complex craniofacial reconstruction. In this case, a patient with severe post-burn facial contractures required a carefully planned approach that combined traditional orthodontic biomechanics with modern 3D technology. By repositioning teeth and restoring the dental arch before reconstructive surgery, the medical team was able to simplify the surgical process while improving functional outcomes. Read more here .
